Eligibility for REET Recruitment 2024

- For REET Level 1, the candidate should have passed 12th class with minimum 50% marks and should have a 2 year BTC or D.El.Ed course in elementary education.
- For REET Level Second, the candidate should be a graduate with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university and B.Ed in the concerned subject.
- Candidates studying in the final year of B.Ed and BSTC will also be able to apply for REET.
Application Fee for REET
The application fee for REET Level 1 has been kept at Rs 550, and the application fee for REET Level II has also been kept at Rs 550. Applicants for both levels will have to pay a fee of Rs 750.
Eligibility for REET
Eligibility for REET Level 1: The candidate should have passed 12th standard with a minimum 50% marks from a recognized board and a year’s Diploma in Elementary Education or equivalent.
Eligibility for REET Level 2: Candidates should be Graduates and B.Ed in the concerned subject from a recognized university, in addition to 4 years of Integrated BA B.Ed or BSc B.Ed candidates are also eligible to apply.
Minimum passing marks in REET exam
- To qualify for the REET exam, the general category candidates must get a minimum of 60% marks while it is mandatory for the candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes.
- Most Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Sections, and Scheduled Castes to get a minimum of 55% marks. It will be mandatory to get 55% marks and a minimum of 36% marks for TSP area, widows and deserted women, and ex-servicemen of all categories will have to get a minimum of 50% marks while differently-abled candidates will have to bring a minimum 40% marks, for Saharia tribe, the minimum passing marks have been kept at 36%.
