PMSSS 2024-25 Eligibility Criteria
In this section, we will discuss the eligibility criteria for PMSSS 2024-25. The criteria is given as:
- Domicile of UT of J&K or Ladakh
- Yearly income of family should be less than 8 lakhs.
- Passed 10+2 from JKBOSE or CBSE (from J&K or Ladakh only).
- Passed 10+3 Diploma from UT of J&K or Ladakh Polytechnic (for engineering course).
- passed 10+2 in 2022, 2023 or 2024 (wait for official notification).
- No entrance examination required.
- Selection of PMSSS 2024-25 is based on 12th marks.
PMSSS 2024-25 Selection Process
Domicile: Candidates must be domiciled in the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
Academic Qualification: Students should have completed their 12th-grade examinations from schools affiliated with JKBOSE or CBSE located in J&K and Ladakh.
Family Income: Candidates must belong to families with an annual income of Rs. 8.00 lakh or less.
Merit: While there is no specific entrance exam, selection is primarily based on merit, which is determined by the marks obtained in the 12th-grade examination.
Reservation: The scheme provides reservations for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and other categories as per government guidelines.
PMSSS 2024-25 Documents Required
The documents required for all the competitive exams, scholarships are almost same with little bit variation.
I advise you to keep all the important documents ready before applying. The main documents are given as:
- Domicile Certificate
- Date of birth certificate
- Marksheet (10th+12th)
- Aadhar Card
NOTE: If you have not qualified CUET or not appeared in the said examination, you are still eligible for this scheme.
