In IGNOU, Assignments carry 30% weightage of total marks. Hence, Every Student of IGNOU must have to Submit an Assignment to the coordinator of the respective study Centre every semester or year.
Term End Examination (TEE) consists of 70% weightage of total marks. If a student successfully submits an assignment, then he/she can appear in the term-end examination

Grades System for Percentage
The grading system of IGNOU is explained below in a tabular form.
